Free Woman promotes health protection and information about the rights of immigrant persons. It works mainly for persons who manage to liberate themselves from exploitation, of whatever nature.

Founded in June 2000 by a group of Caritas Diocesana volunteers in Ancona-Osimo, Free Woman is a voluntary association which offers a well-organized, qualified context for whoever wishes to undertake this kind of work, and uses specific professions and methods for the social inclusion of exploited persons.

The initiatives which the Association plans and carries out, are directed not only to the protection of human and civil rights but also to providing individuals and groups who risk exclusion access to information, services and opportunities These initiatives find an organic and structured reference point in the Opportunity project.

Access to means of social integration provided by the Opportunity project is reserved to those who have obtained, or are able to do so in the near future, a residence permit for humanitarian reasons according to art. 18 D.Lgs 286/98
